The BSA made an announce last week that they were giving a month warning to businesses to comply with legal software before launching a severe crackdown to start on 15th October. They also double the reward for denouncing companies up to 500,000 THB.

The Bangkok Post (24th September 2008) reports that a “severe crackdown” against businesses suspected of engaging in the installation and use of illegal software by the Economic and Cyber Crime Division (Ecotec) will begin in mid-October.
